Magnolia Montessori For All partners with families to help children reach their extraordinary potential intellectually, emotionally, socially, creatively, and physically, so that they can pursue lives full of meaning and joy. Magnolia Montessori For All, we believe that children are like seeds that contain enormous potential for growth within them. Our job as educators is to provide the right environment that nurtures those seeds and helps them grow into their fullest potential. Our school is divided into the following multi-age groups:

  • Children’s House = Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten

  • Early Elementary = 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade

  • Upper Elementary = 4th, 5th, and 6th grade

Opening Fall 2025 with 6th & 7th grades and growing to serve 8th graders the following year, our middle school will build upon the foundation of Magnolia Montessori for All, allowing children a supportive place to grow academically, develop a strong sense of personal identity and a commitment to support that of others in a racially, culturally, socioeconomically and linguistically diverse community, and to hone the social emotional competencies critical for success in work and life. Using Montessori principles as our foundation allows guides to view and interact with students as unique individuals who they are supporting on their path to fulfillment. Our experience with Magnolia has shown us that utilizing blended learning is a compatible lever for helping children grow and making the time and space for more organic exploration. Using a blended approach, with the support of high-quality instructional materials, helps guides to ensure that all students have a strong core foundation and are given individualized scaffolding for exploratory thinking and application. We find this blend of “a spirit of continuous inquiry and innovation with a ferocious practicality” (Calkins, 2023), allows for the pernicious walls of inequity to start breaking down.

The bilingual infant & toddler communities are beautifully prepared environments designed for the changing developmental needs of children 8 weeks through 36 months. The furniture is at their level to foster independence and confidence. There is a playground adjacent to the classroom for active play, and consistent routines have all been planned to meet the needs of our youngest children in a “home away from home” atmosphere. Our loving and nurturing staff provide quality care and enrich the children with sensory, language and gross motor activities.

El Oso seeks to make an authentic Montessori education as available to as many families as possible through sliding scale tuition and a partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission.
