HISTORY
The idea for Montessori For All started as a small seed of an idea in a public Montessori school in Houston, TX. Co-founder Sara Cotner was teaching 1st-3rd grades and blending the best of what she had learned within high-performing public schools for children from low-income communities with her Montessori training to create a self-directed, personalized, connected, and empathetic learning environment to nurture the head, heart, and hands.
The seed grew into a national nonprofit organization focused on helping more children have access to truly transformational schools.
