OUR MISSION AND VISION

Montessori For All seeks to build a more just and peaceful world. We cultivate diverse leaders of the future who find purpose and joy in their own lives and advocate for others to be able to do the same. We do this by dramatically increasing the number of children who have access to transformational public schools that include the following:

FULLY-IMPLEMENTED MONTESSORI

We believe in the power of the Montessori approach and seek to implement it with fidelity—grounding our work in child-development theory, committing to full training for every teacher, and equipping classrooms with a full set of Montessori materials.

EMBEDDED SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL LEARNING

We believe in designing an overarching system that embeds social and emotional learning into every component of the school day and the school community to provide a truly transformational experience for children.

CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE COMMUNITIES

We believe in the power of racially, culturally, and socio-economically diverse schools and explicit anti-bias and anti-racist work to help dismantle the racism and segregation that plague our country and cultivate diverse leaders of the future who are comfortable navigating across lines of difference.
